Fascination Lyrics
We got to use her
Every time I feel
Fascination
I just can't stand still
I've got to use her
Every time I think
Of what you pulled me through, dear
Fascination moves
Sweeping near me
Still I take ya
CHORUS
Fascination
Sure 'nuff
Takes a part of me
Can a heart-beat
Live in a fever
Raging inside of me
Fascination
Oh, yeah
Takes a part of me
I can't help it
I've got to use her
Every time
Fascination comes around
(Ooh-oo-ooh, fascination)
Your soul is calling
Like when I'm walking
Seems that everywhere I turn
I hope you're waiting for me
I know that people think
That I'm a little crazy
Ooh, better sex is fun
I think I like fascination
Still, tick
CHORUS (2x)
Fascination
I just can't stand still
I've got to use her
Every time I think
Of what you pulled me through, dear
Fascination moves
Sweeping near me
Still I take ya
Fascination
Sure 'nuff
Takes a part of me
Can a heart-beat
Live in a fever
Raging inside of me
Fascination
Oh, yeah
Takes a part of me
I can't help it
I've got to use her
Every time
Fascination comes around
Like when I'm walking
Seems that everywhere I turn
I hope you're waiting for me
I know that people think
That I'm a little crazy
Ooh, better sex is fun
I think I like fascination
Still, tick

I believe Luther Vandross has a writing credit on this one.
Sexiest Bowie song perhaps ever. Which - through common logic - must result in the sexiest song. Ever.
This is indeed a sexy song, but on hearing this song I often think it is about drugs, in particular, cocaine. Whatever the situation, whether working, socialising, or making love, he has got to use her, every time. She's pulled him through some tight spots, but still, he takes her, he can't help it.
Bearing in mind he eventually had to run away to Berlin to avoid cocaine addiction, this is what I think this song is about.
Well, I doubt there is a deeper meaning to this song, but it sure as hell makes me hot (especially live with Bowie breathing heavily in the background...yummy :D).
Yeah this is one of Bowie's sexiest moments -- that Bass note he hits isquiverable though. I think the deeper meaning is an analysis of his relationship with on-again off-again wife Angela -- he is considering what kept him with her -- fascination
I agree this is a sexy song...but his sexiest in my humble opinion is on the track Win.
