This song is about a Rite of Passage. A friend is trying to help another get through rough time. we've all been there I think.

Actually Mitch wrote this song about himself, I read in an interview that he was going through the worst time of his life and simply wrote this one to try to cheer himself up. But yeah it's like you say, we've all been there, I have and it always feels good to know you're not alone about these things.
