hmm...the meaning of this song is very well hidden...but I THINK this is a christmas song. its not about the xmas we all know, but its about a very dark and evil xmas. a gothic xmas! but thats just me. correct me if I'm wrong :p

What with christmas coming in just a few days time I have been listening to this. It's really good fun and I agree with you 'Achmode' the Rudolph line is great. Imagine if that was the tale of Santa and Rudolph that you grew up with!

Lawl. I wonder if this song kinda parodies goth in general. Like with Santa wearing a black dress instead of just a black suit, and "grunting in Latin" made me crack up because it reminds me of E Nomine in which the vocalist does grunt in Latin.
But of course kinda in a fun way : D
Of course it's kind of making fun of Gothic in general, Within Temptation has always been about fun. and although they started out with a doom/Gothic metal feel, they never took it very serious, even now, when the band is growing bigger, they still kid around with it. Love them.
Pure genius. My children will grow up believing in within teptation's santa myth because it is way cooler^^
