I love how the part before the chorus becomes hopeful, and then it goes into the chorus. It changes the song and what it means. Very cool.

I think it's "they'll paint them red, those things you said" Love this song and band. First two lines are the best.

I cant believe this song hasnt had more comments! I love it, its so effing sweet. And i just love the way its so upbeat and happy. Even though some of the words arent exectly happy...

It seems like it would be about a relationship with God. The first verse seems to be kind of an intro. Like he's saying..well this is what you said. This was your word (the bible). The second verse maybe questioning God. Talks about the pain he's received and how through all that pain it's hard to believe. But in the chorus he seems to come around. He misses God and he wants the relationship back in his life. The part about 'not fading' seems that he realizes that God is never going to abandon him and that he's not going to give up on him either. Great song, definitely one of my favorite bands.

Thank you to DarkEternal for posting the right lyrics; this song deserves them. I'm quite sure this song is about a relationship with God or something but I prefer to think of it more in a romantic capacity; it just sounds too cute and romantic to be just about that...It definitely has some religious undertones though...
