Quincy Punk Episode Lyrics
molly said she ought to leave you in the ground
when they see you hanging down from on the ceiling
I've got a feeling
that there's no one if you could speak would believe you
i-n-t-h-e-g-r-o-u-n-d ground
when they see you hanging down from on the ceiling
I've got a feeling
that there's no one if you could speak would believe you
i-n-t-h-e-g-r-o-u-n-d ground

The song title at least comes from an episode of Quincy - the tv show about the coroner that investigates suspicious murders... the episode is unintentionally hilarious... at one stage Quincy comes to the conclusion that "Punk music is killing kids"

On the surface this song appears to be about a suicide.
But then there's that line "no one-if you could speak-would believe you"... is it staged or something? Then he emphasizes "In the ground," almost like a taunt that this person can't speak because he's dead.
Good song, no doubt.
