Carolina's cheap
Oh she kneels down, down
Goes around, on a coffin, all night
But to me
Well she's nowhere now
She'll be nowhere tomorrow when you smashed all the, smashed all the

God is responsible for album reissues, too? Man, that guy can do it all.
Ahhhhhhhhh... I fucking LOVE this song. It establishes a great sex kittenish mood. It's so slinky.
What is Cvantez though? It seems like a name of wine but it's nothing, right?
At any rate, I think this song is about a really really dumb girl named Carolina who's very bland and has no idea what's going on around her. Also, coffin sounds like carpet to me. Also, I think she's just slinking around a floor but that's the "carpet" talking to me and I know I'm wrong.
What do you think?
definitely hear "carpet" too.
i tried to wikipedia 'cvantez' but all i got was redirected to telephono, the first album from austin, texas indie rock band spoon.
you know how that goes :)
after listening to this more i've decided it's my hands down favourite spoon song. telephono is by far the best spoon album, i think. thank god for re-issues!
