Just like how the guy wants the girl..and he doesnt think hes smart...[good] enough for the girl and how like the girls friends think hes crazy..ahh i just love this song.
i love this, especially the bit about 'i wans't trying to impress those girls anywya' because no matter how much a guy likes u, he always seems to need approval from his mates too. but yeha, great song.

I think "where i'm from we live like its the latest attraction" means that him and his friends, or the people on his side of town live life like its a ride, i think he's just describing how crazy their lifestyle is
