kris is awesome. i love this song, and all his lyrics are ace. good one.

I saw them last night and they came back for an oncore to sing this song and some others hes said that he wanted to come back to sing this song because people told himthat the song meant alot to them..then he went on to explain the song, the song is about his parents splitting when he was 5 then he said " to make it even more fucked up they married again when i was 10" he said it took him 5 more years to get over all of this and be normal and then he wrote the song. So there ya go there kick ass live you all should go see them and pick upthere new cd and support the band!

I heard this song was about Kris and his daughter. Whatever it's about, it's a very heartfelt song and it's so sweet.

I heard that it was about Kris writing to a boy in hospital with leukemia who he finally got round to seeing and he died the next day. I originally thought it was about his dad and his daughter but that's what someone else told me.

the other song by them....has the line in "then u took me aside and sed i was not ur only son, childhood is so fucked up"....sorta links to this song. i think its about his fam.

when i first heard this song i was confused as to who it was towards? like towards a son or daughter of his own or to other people in the same shoes.. or even to his own father at some parts.

but whoever to- it's amazing, and i can understand more & more everytime i hear it, since i grew up with out a dad too.

He wrote it for his daughter, and how he's not around a lot. Like his father wasn't around a lot in his childhood. So it's about those two things.

let me ask you guys your opinon... if your boyfriend had this song in his away message after you told him you were pregnant, and then after the lyrics he wrote "ataris so said it for me." what would you think? ...
