me and you together on the sand, feeling you holding my hand. that night our love felt so strong, not tonight, nothing could go wrong. the air was chilled the stars were shining bright, under the blanket our bodies were out of sight. i never thought of our last night like this, our last hug, our last real kiss. what's the use of bringing me down? that night turned my life around. what's the use, of saying i love you? you didn't intend to see it until the end. some folks thought i was to blame, they ruined me and they ruined my name. most of all they took their girl away, i'm gone now so i guess they got their way.
