This is the song that made me a Mostly Autumn-fan...so sad, and yet so hopeful...so lovely...
Yes this is a great song, it seems to me that she's in a lot of pain now, and she's trying to recall the good memories of her youth. Probably something happened that makes her feel so bad now, hence the 'Can I...I remember...' and 'If I ever meet again with her / Could I tell her I could live with her?' parts.
It is a beautiful song and beautifully sung by Heather Findlay. I love the line: 'I'll fight these demons that I've tried to describe'
