I dig this song. General statement about money, society and the planet. Greed is stealing and destroying everything good about the earth. The rich keep getting richer....there won't be any middle class anymore. Just us slaves and the 5% nation. I never thought about the connection to porch, very interesting.

I think this song might be the continuation of Porch (if you interpret Porch as not a "lost love"-song). To me they're about the same things; self-interest and how the power-people (politicians etc.) have the wrong perspective on things.
