this is the most convicting song i know...i literally makes me bawl every time hear it...it just reminds me how many people don't know Jesus, and how little i'm doing to better that...
seen_from_stars i feel the same way! i dont cry everytime i here it but it carries a very strong and sorrowful msg, but at the same time it is hopeful....if we will just do it, but its harder said than done, i don't realy know how to approach ppl ...its confusing. as christians it should be part of our lives, and i need it to become more a part of mine.
omiigowsh, guys! i know! but it is so simple, just be nice to EVERYBODY! at this group i go to, we have to get somebody into Christianity. and ALL we have to do is be nice to them. serioulsy. just love everybody! regardless. Christ does! and tell them what you do at Church and stuff. take them to something that your church runs (eg foundraiser). they might like it, and wanna go!
This song is so beautiful and it just makes me think of how truly blessed I am to have my faith. It is really a great gift from God. This is why it's so important for those who have been blessed with the gift of faith to spread it to others. And, like other posters have said, do so just by loving. Strive every day to show everyone the love Christ shows us. You never know when your kindness may change someone's life. Here is one case I think is very moving:
A boy was clearing out his locker and as he was leaving school, he had so many books in his hands that he tripped and dropped them everywhere. Another boy was walking by him and stopped to help pick up his books. The two started talking and the second boy walked the other all the way home. The boys ended up becoming great friends. At their graduation a few years later, the first boy was valedictorian and was making his speech. He said that a few years before, he had been extremely depressed and one day it became so bad that he decided to clear out his locker, go home, and kill himself. But, on his way home he met one boy who, through his simple act of kindness, saved his life.
