This song is very deep. One feels there is no more hope. If they never wake up again and see another sun, they won't have to face trouble, sorrow, sadness, hardship and many other trials of life. Someone else will feel those things instead.
I agree. Its submission to this life as it’s the same everyday. Giving up on the struggles one faces as she believes that these everyday battles cannot be won, so pass these burdens onto someone else as they have exhausted her. No care for herself and for others and if there is a punishment for this resignation of life then so be it. That my understanding of it anyway.
It maybe talking about suicide and the feeling one has when all hope in life has gone and there's nothing left here in the world to keep going. the suffering heart wants out or an end to the pain it's going through
