Escape Pod For Intangibles Lyrics
i left the horizon
curled up and frozen still
the tilting of the hourglass
with all this time to kill
curled up and frozen still
the tilting of the hourglass
with all this time to kill

this whole cd is pretty repetative with this time, horizon, hourglass, frozen stuff. but its really cool :) makes it much more interesting... and enjoyable of course.
yeah I noticed that too.. it's a good CD.. but I think Frailty of Words was better =)
This song has a real dark feeling to it, I love it.
It's almost reminiscent of Joy Division. Almost.
He uses the same line in another song, I really want to buy this album and get more into the band.
the singer for hum is singing this one
but what the hell are they talking about?
since he is constantly talking about the horizon and hourglass in the sattelite years, i think this song has to do with(and maybe the whole cd) stepping down from being the big man or the popular kid and constantly not having friends so you just sit locked in your room..."with all this time to kill". and the tilting of the hourglass means that it will never end; the hourglass will keep turning.
I got all my mates listening to this band, I am so good...
this whole cd kinda seems to be like a story or a bunch of stories put together from different people all goin to achieve the same goal...here they are finally breaking away from all the regrets and stupid stuff that the world dishes out for us but its a shock to them and they dont know wat to do next. maybe it seems like forever to get answers and they are waiting for answers from god and they have time to kill because they aren't really doin anything then everything gets summed up in the bending..the people kind of find themselves and god..idk
i like cearamm's interpretation too
Matt from Hum (who produced TSY) sings on this one. Man I miss Hum. And I miss the 'old' Hopesfall too. You know, the Hopesfall that sounded like this instead of some modern rock also-ran :-(.
yea man. it's a tragedy they had to go their separete ways. I miss the old hopesfall too. after the satellite years they shouldn't have kept the name. .hopesfall.

this song for me it seems like it is the bridge in tsy. this whole cd really confuses me but i feel like this is the bane of the cd in my opinion. to me it feels like whatever you do its going to happen again and all you can do is watch as it happens as if theres way too many things going on for time to stop to make a difference for you. like the ebb and flow i guess... this song really depresses me though it just sounds so sad along with the rest of tsy
