A Man Exits Lyrics

i escaped the horizon
feeling nothing was the easiest existence
leaving a world of regret in a wake of flames
no flame ever burned as bright
i will not leave a martyr
no more eyes to frame my falls
i can't live life for closed hearts
joy left me that day
pulled from my hands as they robbed me of life
i am leaving earth
burning the past as i turn and wave goodbye
i am finally alive.

I think this song might be about dying (or at least, a near death experience)

quite a positive outlook on it all. . .

This is my intepretation of the song..

He has a heavy calling on his life to see souls saved and lives changed. But it all becomes so difficult that he feels "nothing was the easiest existence". Basically it's saying that he wanted to see the world change so badly, but their closed hearts sucked the joy right out of him. So he leaves the world behind in flames. I finally feels alive when he's dead. i.e. with God and away from all the bullcrap

none of thier stuff has a christian message. and thats awesome. bc when it did it wasnt that great, and the old singer sucked. so the new "spacy" hopesfall is amazing and here to stay.

I agree with you guys, it is definitly about dying.

The title suggests a stage prompt, as though he is playing his final scene and then he is gone.

I disgree, the preachiest stuff just so happened to be the best (I mean, nobody else sounds like that record. . .the closest would probably be Training For Utopia. . and they were way heavier than Hopesfall)
