What on earth does that mean? Still, I can't get over how great the song is. It sounds cool despite the strange lyrics.
I can't really help with those first two lines -- I've tried, but I just can't wrap my mind around the metaphor. That's probably why those two lines bug me so much! This song always sounded like relationship confusion or relationship trouble to me. It always made things sound like an unstabble relationship ready to collapse. Loss of hope maybe? Great song though.
"Don't touch the flowers, cuz you can't hear them well" the only thng i can come up with for the above line is he means dont mess with someting that you dont understand or appriciate.
