I believe it is about a love triangle but i'm not sure the middle girl is bi. I think she's straight, and although the lesbian does all these things for her, she just doesn't see it the same way.
well I really do like the way farfronorm sees it but the line "she's blown her cover" makes me think that perhaps the middle girl is bi..
I always took it to mean that the guy is nothing special. As in, the girl singing is trying to tell 'her' that he isn't worth the effort. Because all he ever does is take her to the movies, whether that's metaphorical or not, no matter what's going on in 'her' life.
When a guy takes a girl to the movie, this could mean relationship. When two girls go to a movie, the're just friends. Nothing deper is implied. And this pains the singer.

i love this song! this is my take she likes a girl thinks "she's the one for [her]" but this other guy likes her alot too and she's "she's all he's ever had".. and they have something is common: they've both taken the girl to movies! but looks like the bisexual girl picks the guy, eh? anyone have any other takes???
