Walk Right In Lyrics

Walk right in, sit right down, baby let your hair hang down
Walk right in, sit right down, baby let your hair hang down
Everybody's talking 'bout a new way of walking
Do you want to lose you mind
Walk right in, sit right down, baby let your hair hang down

Walk right in, sit right down, daddy let your mind roll on
Walk right in, sit right down, daddy let your mind roll on
Everybody's talking 'bout a new way of walking
Do you want to lose you mind
Walk right in, sit right down, daddy let your mind roll on

Walk right in, sit right down, honey let your hair hang down
Walk right in, sit right down, honey let your hair hang down
Everybody's talking 'bout a new way of walking
Do you want to lose you mind
Walk right in, sit right down, honey let your hair hang down

Walk right in, sit right down, baby let your hair hang down
Walk right in, sit right down, daddy let your mind roll on
Walk right in, sit right down, honey let your hair hang down...

Obviously references drug-taking, particularly with the lines "Everybody's talking 'bout a new way of walking Do you want to lose you mind". Possibly talking about the rise of acid?

i think this song is terrific, the rooftop singers have a version of it, and it's great. I would imagine that scully is right, it's a total hippie acid anthem "let your hair hang down" and "let your mind roll on".

the rooftop singers were the original composers and performers of this song. somebody REALLY needs to update SongMeanings to reflect this. they don't even have an entry when you search for the song!
