A Save Situation Lyrics
It feels like you've been asleep for days
Television's on, can't stay awake
I fall down again.
And when your friends leave, oh they get gone
Such a pet peeve when you prove me wrong
I fall down, we all fall down
I need to get back to Tempe
It's been two years since I've been here before
Back down to these streets that lead me
The ones that keep me away from Glendale
Oh oh, open your eyes and let me in
I swore to God I'd never swear
And we all fall down
And we all fall down
Again.
Television's on, can't stay awake
I fall down again.
And when your friends leave, oh they get gone
Such a pet peeve when you prove me wrong
I fall down, we all fall down
I need to get back to Tempe
It's been two years since I've been here before
Back down to these streets that lead me
The ones that keep me away from Glendale
Oh oh, open your eyes and let me in
I swore to God I'd never swear
And we all fall down
And we all fall down
Again.

The progression here in this song is probably the best part to me, as well as Nate's vocal range. Just randomly, I have to say the best part of the song for me is; "I swore to God I'd never swear".
buy their EP its really good go to TheFormat.com or if u live in AZ u can go to Zia or stinkweeds
The Format are great. I can never get enough of them, I hope they come to San Diego...sometime.
This song to me is about how everybody makes mistakes. This is made pretty clear by the "But I'll fall down again, Yeah we all fall down." This is saying how he will always make mistakes as we all will. The verses seem to show an example of each of these. and by the way...The correct lyric for the first part is "It feels like you've been asleep for days, The televisions on, I CAN'T stay awake".
this is the best band i have heard since brand new
most beautiful song on the album
I love the format though I am unsure of the meaning of this song.
i think it's about longing for the place where you were, even if it wasn't great, it was home.
This is a rather, self explanatory type of song.
Probably the most beautiful song on the album.
I love this song. Wish it was longer.
