You've Been Flirting Again Lyrics

All that she said was true
All that she said was true
Give her some time
Give her some space
All that she said was true

All that she meant was good
All that she meant was good
Give her some time
Give her some space
All that she meant was good

How you reacted was right
How you reacted was right
Give her some time
Give her some space
How you reacted was right

Flirting is "ambiguous and slippery," according Björk.

definitely.

i love how without the title the lyrics wouldn't mean as much.

In one of the live versions she sings, "You're all I ever wanted." at the beginning and end of the song.

It makes me cry and the strings speak to me.

I'll never have you back.

ahh much as this is a beautifully sad song about someone cheating on someone hence the title i've seen another meaning in the lyrics. Well lets start with the first line "All that she said was true" maybe not been a truth but saying true as in yes i agree thats what happened. then "All that she meant was good" she tried to do something and it didn't turn out how she wanted? Maybe there for a friend and someone mistaking that as something more? Or even did do something wrong but seem so right at the time..."Give her some time Give her some space" refelctions on boths sides i would think on the situation here..."How you reacted was right" Yes i ammit i was wrong whoever did it...reaction may be one of anger depending on extent of problem...whats really sad is the title word "again" as if this happens many times over. Hence the repeated lyrics many times! I guess we all know when your in love you forgive what ever that person has done as they are forever perfect in your eyes. I maybe be very wrong who knows...

Peace and Love Sobyn

Do you think the "You" in the title is referring to the speaker of the poem or to the person that the speaker is addressing?

to me it seems about flirting with someone that has been through a traumatic experience, and you have to let her take some distance from time to time when you get too close. however hard that is. she means well but she's just too broken to let you come close too fast.
