Get Blown Away Lyrics
When she blows the candle flame to smoke
She says a prayer for all of those who live in houses and in homes
And Monday she'll go down town and standing naked in the road
You may know what I am but who I am you don't know
She'll run across the mustard dust sand
And scream down the wind
And the sea is in a cold
Like when in holiday homes
And houses like sweets confectionary
Sandcastles and drinking wine
Hungry dinners perfectly timed
And mother and father glowing and young
Happy to be eachother together
When she blows the candle out
She goes to bed and lies and drags in through her head
The way that went the way of everyday
But tommorrow she'll fly a plane
Over the fields where the houses arn't built yet
She smiled sweetly across the room
Through the lunch time smoke
And I loved her for a second
And discarded the queen and I know
How sweetness turns to sour
And leaves they turn to brown
And then to earth and dust
And settle in this town
You get blown away
When she blows the candle flame to smoke
She says a prayer for all of those who live in houses and in homes
And Monday she'll go down town and standing naked in the road
You may know what I am but who I am you don't know
She'll run across the mustard dust sand
And scream down the wind
And the sea is in a cold
Like when in holiday homes
And houses like sweets confectionary
Sandcastles and drinking wine
Hungry dinners perfectly timed
She smiled sweetly across the lunch time smoke
And I loved her for a second
And discarded the queen and I know
When men are little boys again
And woman cruel step mothers of old
And this is the invention
The adeventure of my own
I get blown away...

No no no its about the circle of life. She is senile, going naked , you think she's a mad old women but she was a little girl and lives there in her senile mind now. Ocs are speaking about the concept of youth to old age , death, leaves turn to brown etc . She remembered at first in death then she is forgotten , blown away. It's a beautiful song. Ocs really have been in that dark place and you hear it in his voice, it's a cuse and a cut that never really heals I love ocs
this is like one of my best ocs songs.the band is amazing,i dont understand why there are so few people writing on it.this song represents how some1 is blown away with the world, just at simple things but they amaze him.
This IS the best OCS song. probably 1 of the first ones tht i actually stopped and listened to. I have loads of other near favourites but none can compete with this!
This song i reckon is about REMEMBERING when the simpler times blew him away when he was a kid on holiday down at his grans
I think it's about the holocaust, if you think about it, you'll see I'm right.
In the song, 'she' is nostalgia. She's travelling over fields where houses aren't built yet etc and at the end he says 'this is the invention' meaning he knows that whatever love he feels for those old days and the beautiful nostaligia, deep down he knows it's an invention of his mind, his own adventure.
Ps It's all his thoughts on life n channeled through the women he knew once. Trust me I know n get it totally x
I really think she is Time.
