I Could Feel the Wind Lyrics

A long stretch of highway,
the radio light is breaking the darkness
of nothing but the night.

A truck passing by me
by a margin so slim,
my car started shaking,
I could feel the wind . . .

I start to shiver
when I remember
how close to forever
we had been.
Like a train in motion,
a breeze on the ocean,
love blew right by me again,
I could feel the wind.

Oh, just last December,
with the sky turning grey,
the cold going bitter
with everything he'd say.
Accusations in the air,
no one could defend,
words flew like bullets,
I could feel the wind . . .

I start to shiver
when I remember
how close to forever
we had been.
Like a train in motion,
a breeze on the ocean,
love blew right by me again,
Oh, I could feel the wind.

Oh, it's a chilly, lonely feeling
trying to hold on to the wind . . .

I start to shiver
when I remember
how close to forever
we had been, oh . . .
Like a train in motion,
a breeze on the ocean,
love blew right by me,
and I could feel the,
I could feel the wind . . . (I start to shiver when I remember)
Oh I could feel the wind . . . (I start to shiver when I remember)

I could feel the,
I could feel the wind. (I start to shiver when I remember)

I could feel . . . (I start to shiver when I remember)

This song is so pretty. I loved it even before I knew the words by heart. Just a note---this is a demo of hers, so you can't find it on any albums (or so I think).
