I corrected a small error in this: pø bølet --> på bålet, which means "the fire" in English. pø and bølet aren't words in the Norwegian language, I don't think.
Norway was christianized by force. This song is about a heathenistic retaliation against christianity.
I wish it had happened and christianity was stamped out altogether. Did you know my spellcheck is highlighting christianity in red because I refuse to capitalize it? The oppression of christianity is above all things, even language.
