i wish that i could take back every drunken night so selfishly keeping myself distant and doubtful and basically an asshole and i tried to stay young and in the womb of a bottle but i just keep on getting older and the bottles keep piling up. it's such a foolish attempt to hold on to a time when idiocy had no consequence. and i'll try to keep singing over the telephone ringing. running from the age i should be embracing (we're all so satisfied to be just barely alive) for lack of anything better to do, for all the shit i have to swallow.. the water vs the anchor

god, this band is amazing. Like i loved this song when i couldn't understand the lyrics, now i want to hump it.
This band sure is amazing. I can't wait for their next album to come out. This is my 2nd fav. song by them.
i must agree with dennydawger, and i want to hump him just a little as well, i love this song and this band because its so obvious they wrote their lyrics in the heat of the moment, and most likely drunkenly

I saw like the first show these guys played a long time ago. This is a good song, i can't seem to get into any other ones though.
A few months ago I was listening to this song constantly. A perfect song. And one of the best bands I've ever heard. Go but "Sirens" and "Where you are and where you want to be"
Great song right here, but nowhere near the best on the album. I didnt like 'Sirens' as much as 'Where you are, and where you want to be' it just plaes in comparison to their older work. I wish i could somehow get my hands on a copy of The Making of a Conversation.
I just saw the lead singer Jason like 2 weeks ago. He seems like a heroin addict now. Much different then he used to be in the good ol' days of OTMOP. Homeless and Jobless, and Bandless.
