Hymn Lyrics
Spirit of addiction
Spirit of confusion
Spirit of perversion lend me your ear
Spirit of witchcraft
Spirit of hatred
Spirit of delusion I bind you now
All in the name of Jesus
I bind you up
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you out
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you down to the pits of hell
All in the name of Jesus
I bind you up
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you out
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you down to the pits of hell
Let em' have an open ear
Let em' have an open heart
Let em' see with new found sight
Let em' feel your love tonight
Spirit of religion
Spirit of deception
Spirit of division lend me your ear
Spirit of mockery
Spirit of jealousy
Spirit of adultery I bind you now
Spirit of confusion
Spirit of perversion lend me your ear
Spirit of witchcraft
Spirit of hatred
Spirit of delusion I bind you now
I bind you up
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you out
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you down to the pits of hell
All in the name of Jesus
I bind you up
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you out
All in the name of Jesus
I cast you down to the pits of hell
Let em' have an open heart
Let em' see with new found sight
Let em' feel your love tonight
Spirit of deception
Spirit of division lend me your ear
Spirit of mockery
Spirit of jealousy
Spirit of adultery I bind you now

hes basically saying he wants to cast hs sins out and thats all i relle got right now
He's clearly a traditional Pentecostal, Charismatic Christian. He is referencing the act of casting demons out of a person or place by binding them spiritually in the name of Jesus Christ and casting them into the depths of Hell. He is referencing it metaphorically, kind of, to mean he's casting his sinful nature the specific things he mentioned out of his life. He's praying for God's help in this matter by calling on the name of Jesus to bind his sins and the spirit of sin in his life and to cast them out.
James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
