this song is so good, and the album its off is awesome. nights in venice is one of my favourite songs ever.
I think it is because 'The Saints' are cited as possibly being the seminal 'punk band' before McLaren turned the music into a way to sell clothes. Anyway, one of the very first riffs I taught myself to play.
This song is overrated. The Saints did better songs even after Ed Kuepper left. Check them !

its a good song i think regardless i apparently herd it was about Ed Kuepper going to gig in Ipswich and missing his last train back to Oxley and spent a night in Ipswich on the street, not certain if it is true but yeah.
Along with This Perfect day; I'm Stranded is usually considered The Saints' best song.
Personally, I think Erotic Neurotic and Know Your Product are far better.
