I think this song is about missing someone you love, and being missed. It always makes me cry.
this song kinda confuses me, but i see it as being so in love with someone that you cannot bear a single moment apart. you wish you could know that you will be with them forever, but nothing is certain.
Call me absolutely crazy, but this is like loving someone with disiese. (Nope, can't stop relating these songs to Rent.) Especially the chorus, almost apologizing for the fact that the singer will be around a lot longer than whoever he's singing about. I can't sing it without starting to cry, it's so moving to me.
