Until Darkness

the winds from hell are setting in bringing forth my misery
the people scatter through the streets ignorant of what's to come
the clouds are swelling in the skies, the fields they seem to come alive
they say the end is coming soon but few can hear the words they preach
there is no return from this circle of destruction
the winds are setting in and the storm is now upon us
mothers and their children are fighting to survive
their efforts are in vane for the gods have come alive!
I held my goddess tight, she was weeping in my arms
I promised her we'll live forever, even though we die tonight
the delicate beauty in my angels face
with little glassy eyes made to beautiful to cry
people in the streets are being blown away
mother nature lashes out in a fit of rage!
lining all the streets are the cages of souls
and those who are aware are holding some close
the houses of the victims, some of which deny
the ones who don't believe in fate shall be the first to die
my little darling my love and my lust
ill kneel at your feet until the heavens turn to dust
and though our time was short together it leads me to confess
the only thing I want is to be with you until darkness
