where you going
what's your scene
saw your face in a magazine
hanging out with the kings and queens
hail the teenage royalty
you just keep lying to yourself
you're better than everyone else
keep saying it over again
everybodies selling souls
where it's headed no one knows
screw education get on the dole
give it up for rock n roll
all this talk 'bout the better band
this is getting out of hand
what's it matter understand
you don't want to you don't want to
you just keep lying to yourself
you're better than everyone else
keep saying it over again....and over again oh N.D.C N.D.C N.D.C N.D.C

"screw education get on the dole" for all you non australians out there who dont know what the dole is, its the money our government gives us when we are unemployed.
This song has heaps of energy and is great to listen to, its the first song on jebs new album and is awesome. Okay anyone who knows anything about me would probably have relaised by know i love jeb .:)
jebs are god.no arguements;) the name of the song- n.d.c - the meaning.my bro went to a jebs concert and asked them( he's on the special concert footage actually) and they said something like "say it really fast....it's "indie scene" ". so yeah they're talking about the aussie or international independent music scene.....but i REALLY love the line "screw education/get on the dole/give it up for rock and roll!" .don't we all wanna do that?;)
ok sorry it wasn't my bro, it was a monkey girl who asked that, he asked sumthing else.
"screw education get on the dole" I challenge anyone, Bono, Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, Kurt Cobain (if he was still alive), Axl Rose, ANYONE to come up with a better line than that.
