Night drive, under night sky, stars hang down like Christmas lights as we fight. Fields for miles, lay flat like bathroom tiles, and I don’t believe cause of what I’ve seen, sometimes I want to but there’s nothing above the stars, but sky , not some guy. The first song written for Fairmont by Sabatino. All about feelings of doubt as Sabatino was on his final tour with Pencey Prep, deciding if he should start a new band or try to work it out. Inspired by a Christian band that Pencey Prep had played with this song is a bitter retort aimed at them and Sabatino's former friends in Pencey stating that there is no god or plan in this universe because at that moment it seemed his world was crashing down around him.
