Slow Song Lyrics

Come down to my level
and share this cold with me
This space once filled heavy
With thoughts now lies empty

I tried to run but I got stung
A thousand times rolled into one
The ache still burns with every word
I've broke find the trust again

Come down to my heaven
and share this warmth with me
We'll bleed here together
and lick our wounds better

I tried to run but I got stung
A thousand times rolled into one
The ache still burns with every word
I've broke find the trust again
I'll take the sting and close the door
and everything that I became
I close my eyes to see your face
It holds me up,
It knocks me down

It knocks me down
It knocks me down
It knocks me down
It knocks me down.

Me and my best mate sing this song together constantly. He plays it on guitar, I sing it. It's our favourite song, and because of that, this song reminds me of a friendship.Someone so close that you'd die for them-one word from them can make or break you, its like...I dunno its MORE of a friendship, but not QUITE a relationship...its beautiful.

i think this is something to do with being in love with someone who doesn't love you back, and you can't stop thinkin about that person, and you kno you can never be,and when you try to get away from that person, something pulls you back, whether a problem this person has and you help them,or the thought and love you have of them and you cant get rid of them no matter what, and their is so much pain its like 'stung, thousand times rolled to one'

anyhow,im probably completely wrong, but still, thats what it means to me,and this is my all time fave song, and i can relate to this song, and just amazing,i agrre with lauz,it should be called 'amazing song'

I agree that it's more likely to be about a friendship than a relationship. Have you ever had that one friend who's always there and who can always make you smile? This song reminds me of a friend I have who's just like that, he's truely fantastic (almost perfect). (Assuming Justin wrote it) It's like Justin's saying that dispite their difference in curcumstances him and his friend can still share everything that bothers them, and they can help each other through it.

Though I think that Justin feels he broke up the friendship (presumably by breaking his friend's trust) however he was only trying to help and didn't realise it would go so wrong.

At the end of the day he accepts that things will never be the same, but he still offers to be there for his friend, and whilst the memories of how they were make him happy, the realisation of what they have become really hurts him and reminds him to not make that mistake again.

I'm hoping my friendship wont go the way it appears Justin's did, but if it does, then I hope that we can always remember what we had, as this song suggests Justin does.

I love this song, I love this band. BJS xXx
