Superhero

What this world needs is some real superhero's / Some people who will care enough to be defenders of the weak / Someone to stand up tall for the impoverished and the voiceless / Someone with real intent to do good deeds
Cause flashy colours on fancy flags will get us nowhere fast / And it seems that nation states are problem number one / When the defense of national sovereignty defends the ethnic cleansing / We need someone who can get this job done
And if I close my eyes just for a moment
It's a bird it's a plane, it's disparity in the air
The nation state is so much more than an opponent
We need someone who will fight for what is fair

Equal things to equal people is what it seems to me / The lines have never been drawn so very clear / When economic gains deny an entire people / Evil makes their cities disappear
The villains need to be locked behind titanium bars / So the UN can't selectively ignore / The travesties that happen on an almost daily basis / The casualties that are lost because of war
