i disagree with this song. not everone gets what they want.
i think this song is about him, alone, single, imagining who will be the love of his life. he is lonely and hurting because he cant stop his mind from taking him to sad places. he dreams of a woman, he can almost touch her, he sees her, but she doesnt exist. i love how he words that thinking a lot makes everything worse, i love how he writes.
