This is the saddest song in the whole world, i dont know why, but this is a really really sad song, i don't think it has much to do about love, but it has a withered smoky industrial city on an old building rooftop feel. Very creepy. But my favorite song, Beat Happening are very meloncholic in nature when it comes to their songs.

I agree with marchingant mostly... this song is so bizarre, it's way out there (like so many beat happening songs). Sadness is just the beginning, it's totally ambiguous. "On the trail of finding all about you" is expected to be an in-love line but it could also be negative, just as a phrase. You can find out things about people that are bad. And the whole treasure map thing, with pirate references, is also bizarre.

then there's the Tiger Trap reference, you know, the band? What's that all about?

I dont' think it is a very good idea to do puzzles while chasing a tiger. Tigers are elusive prey, and large carnivores, and they will eat monkeys as well. It is never a good idea to distract yourself with a logic puzzle while tracking a large carnivore, as chances are the carnivore will take advantage of your distracted state, and probably hurt you, or even eat you. I am just saying on your next safari, if you bring any puzzle, bring a Nintendo DS, you can shut if off, and the rainforest wont' make the DS soggy, like puzzle pieces would get in the rainy and moist environment.
