Justice Lyrics

wake up, nights fly
this is the day i've been looking for
try to wake up mom and dad
so i can open up my presents today and
pictures, music, something that you kinda started
think about the homeless man, is he getting fed today, now
i cant wait, lets be quick, i wanna see what presents i got
i've been good this year, i've been so good this year, now
family, singing, like the smile sure on my face.
homeless, hungry, still i complain about the things i dont have
justice, feelings, really need to come together
by far, our minds are clear enough to see the problems
i cant wait, lets be quick, wanna see what presents i got
i've been good this year, i've been so good this year, now

actually it is not 'they', but he. mike park is an political type acoustic guitarist who has songs on the plea for peace and the anti- racist action cd. i can only think of 2 more songs by him, 'Korea is so far away' and 'hamumatsu girl'. but i don' think he has any cd's out. but his songs are cool.

Mike Park is the most underrated man in the Punk/Ska scene. The former saxophonist/vocalist of the great Ska band Skankin' Pickle, now is in a band called The Chinkees, which is against racism, bigotry and ignorance (the 10% of their earnings go to anti-racist organisations). Their purpose: to educate. Mike Park has done some solos in guitar... and there's a CD coming out in August this year. Check http://www.asianmanrecords.com for more info.

Can't wait til we can start adding lyrics again! I wanna add the lyrics to his song "Give Up Everything". It's beautiful.

By the way, it's "wake up, eyed wide" and not "wake up, nights fly". Isn't there a way to correct some lyrics?

I saw Mike Park play on the Plea for Peace tour here in Omaha. He rocked the stage even though it was him and his acoustic guitar. I can't wait to see him again if he ever swings through Omaha again.

saw him supporting alkaline trio and it was amazing the response he got from the audience even though he was a totally different act from what people would have expected. he played an accoustic guitar and had a slide show about asian role models and stereotypes.

Yeah, I saw him supporting Alkaline Trio too, he was amazing. You'd think, with an Alkaline trio type crowd he wouldn't have got such a good reaction, but he was amazing! He has two albums out so far I think.

I am almost positive he has some albums out now, he runs Asian Man Records which had Alkaline Trio Signed, that is probably why they tour together
