The title of this song reminds me of the comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (or JTHM) where he constantly has to kill people in order to paint the walls with their blood to please the monster that's behind them, and if he ever stops and the blood on the walls gets too dry and old, the monster will break through. Maybe the title has nothing to do with that, but that's what it reminded me of.

Also, the lyrics in this room seem to somewhat match the lyrics in "Shadows of Ghosts Passing On City Streets," like a sequel or a prequel to that song.

Ah. And this song. First CoC song I had, I believe, but it was a live version with a clipped title (Painting Over the Blood on the Walls, or someting akin).
