Suburban Doldrums Lyrics
it's been so long since i've seen your lonely eyes
there were so many things i thought i had to say
i will not forget you my friend, again
you always knew that some scars will never heal
the older you get the less you feel at all
can feel at all
i will not forget you my friend, again
where are you now,
as the sun sets down, where are you now.
where are you now,
as the sun sets down, where are you now.
there were so many things i thought i had to say
i will not forget you my friend, again
you always knew that some scars will never heal
the older you get the less you feel at all
can feel at all
i will not forget you my friend, again
where are you now,
as the sun sets down, where are you now.
where are you now,
as the sun sets down, where are you now.

in my eyes, this song is about two friends who have grown apart or been seperated by physical distance, and it speaks about the way it's like starting over when you talk to someone you never see anymore, how all the things you wanted to say seem unimportant or out of place. however, these two people want to hold onto what they once had (i will not forget you) and maybe trying to give some vague advice to be less lonely (some scars will never heal) and just wondering what their life is like, now that they're not part of it anymore.
this song is incredibly personal to me, and the beauty of it is overwhelming.
I agree with the above poster, but more likely than not it's about a girl. :)
