"Colours wrapped around" is perhaps a reference to military uniform. Fits with "marching men." Given the context of the album, is this song about WWII?
I also think this is about WWII. I can picture the Soviet soliders marching through Berlin at the end of the war in Europe mowing down the last dregs of the German Army on their way to find and kill Hitler. Karma at its best.
