Great song. I think it's about a man meeting and falling in love with a lady vampire.
1st verse He admires her from a distance. She has a pale skin. Wonders why he only sees her at night.
2nd verse He meets her face to face. When attracted to people you look deep into their eyes. Eyes are the window to the soul. Her soul is intense but it is also distant as she is no longer human.
1st bridge He's at her place so all is going well ;-) Like in some of horror movies when the character falls endlessly before suddenly waking in their own bed as if they were waking from a bad dream (waking happens in 3rd verse). He feels like he's close to the devil in the presence of this vampire.
3rd verse He wakes early in the morning but she is already gone (she left before sun rise). She wants to see him again and subtly leaves a note letting him know he can only see her at night.
2nd bridge The pair are passionately in love. Few humans know her name because they sleep when she's awake, but he knows her name. You can knock her down but you can't beat her because vampires are immortal (providing they avoid holy water, stake through the heart, direct sunlight etc).
4th verse He wants her so is willing to wait till night time to she her.

Well of course it is mostly known through the "From Dusk Till Dawn" Movie (which is awesome).
Its a pretty cool song, probably about one night stands with a vampire bitch (only after dark) - no idea - just guessing :D
I think it's about obsession
I was at a bar in Belgrade when a live band covered this. This is apparently a very popular song out there... I can see why, now. Can't help but sway when I hear this song.
That song is really gooood. Latin passion, sweet melody
My opinion is this song doesnt have anything to do with vampires. Ok, maybe at first sight it looks so and it is well used in the movie, but look at the lyrics. They show clearly one thing- femme fatale, a man that wants to own her and the impossible situation of these two to get together. In my opinion, this is a song about a prostitute or a married woman,that pulls dangerous influence on this man.
