Its a beautiful night for feeling lonely
A beautiful night for being afraid
So raise your hands, you one and only's
You one-of-a-kinds who feel this way

I don't want to talk, don't want to explain it
I don't want to fuck and I don't want to fight
Its only a feeling, it's fleet and fading
Its all over the world, and it's only tonight

'Cause it's a beautiful night, beautiful night, yeah
Beautiful night, beautiful night to be here

Its a perfect time for being wasted
A perfect time to watch the stars
So throw back your head
Come on, embrace it
Its a beautiful night, wherever you are

It's a beautiful night
Beautiful night, yeah
Beautiful night
Beautiful night to be here

All good things will come to you
Maybe tonight, maybe tonight it's the truth
I don't know

All good things to those who dream
Maybe tonight, maybe tonight we'll find peace
God I hope so

So raise your hands, raise your hands..

All good friends, they stood by you
And one at a time, one at a time they fell down
They fall down

All your fears are coming true and
This is the time, this is the time of your life
That defines you

So raise your hands, raise your hands..

Under the stars I'm alone among strangers
Confused, connected, diffused and alive
Maybe the future will smile on us
Maybe the future is here tonight

'Cause it's a beautiful night, beautiful night, yeah
Beautiful night,
Beautiful night yeah,
Beautiful night,
Beautiful night yeah,
Beautiful night,
Beautiful night yeah,
Beautiful night yeah,
Beautiful night yeah,
Beautiful night,
It's a beautiful night to be here

I can see how this song can be about having a great time, and I can see how this song is about depression. But when I really look at the lyrics and analyze it, it seems to me that it is more about a failed relationship.

"It's a beautiful night for feeling lonely. A beautiful night for being afraid. So raise your hands you one and onlys. You one of a kind who feel this way."

the first verse is about how the singer is talking to his ex, and he doesn't understand how she can want to be alone instead of being with him. He says she is one of a kind for being like this, for prefering solitude to company.

"I don't want to talk, Don't want to explain it. I don't want to fuck And I don't want to fight. It's only a feeling, It's fleeting, and fading. It's all over the world And It's only tonight."

The second verse is the singer trying to convince her that her precence is all he wants. He doesn't want to talk to her, he doesn't want to have sex, and most importantly he doesn't want to fight. The feelings he has for her are there, and he wants her to bask in them with him, but the feeling is slowly fading so it needs to be done tonight!

"It's a perfect time for being wasted. A prefect time to watch the stars. So throw back your head, Come on embrace it. It's a beautiful night wherever you are. It's a beautiful night. A beautiful night, yeah. A beautiful night. A beautiful night to be here."

This part is saying how it would be so great to drink with her, to even watch the stars with her, but put simply it would be a beautiful night for them to be together. The singer says "its a beautiful wherever you are" and then ends it with its a "beautiful night here" saying you could be just as happy with him.

"All good things will come to you, Maybe tonight (maybe tonight) It's the truth. I don't know. All good things to those who dream. Maybe tonight (maybe tonight) We'll find peace. God I hope so. So raise your hands (raise your hands)."

This verse is saying how maybe if she simply were able to open her eyes and dream about a possible future with him, they would find peace. He places all his hope in that.

"All good friends, they stood by you. And one at a time (one at a time) They fall down. (they fall down) All your fears are coming true And this is the time (this is the time) Of your life, that defines you. So raise your hands (raise your hands)."

It seems this verse is talking about how all of her friends were for her saying that she was doing the right thing, but as time goes on, they see what is happening and stop supporting her, and they fall off. They know what she is doing is stupid. And her fears are comming true, she is absolutly alone.

"Under the stars I’m alone among strangers. Confused, connected, diffused and alive. Maybe the future will smile on us, Maybe the future is here tonight."

This is the verse that gives me the main idea that it is about two people rather then depression or partying. Through the whole song he is refering to "you" or someone else, and now he is finally singing to himself. saying how he is now surrounded by strangers (new girls that can't compare to his ex), and he hopes that prehaps one day he will end up with her.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
