This song, to me, is about Donnie Hamby realizing that many people in this world are Hollow, and lacking real substance. They fail to realize what this world is truly about, and only strive to gain meaningless objects. The song might be specifically about someone he was involved with in a relationship, or simply people in general. But thats what I get out of this song...who knows what he wrote it about...

I agree with you on this! Amazing song! Just those pop people singing canned music and whatever the media tells them to do. Ughhh... I hate them!
