Taste of Suicide Lyrics

Tears fall down the window...
Another lonely night,
Staring down a barrel...
A loaded .45,
And who are my friends today...
Juts a face in this masquerade,
Well I'm in love with nothing,
A taste of suicide...

It burns me to the ground...
It rules me with a frown...

Save my soul... not again,
All that's dead inside you,
Face my fault like a friend,
Oh no... I wish I never met you,
Raised on this apathy,
That's in the air,
Save my soul... not again,

I've seen the end...

Faces in the mirror,
Of a tired man,
Longing for the freedom,
Waiting in my hand,
And what would my mother say,
When they lower me in the grave,
I'm in love with nothing,
A taste of suicide...

It burns me to the ground...
It rules me with a frown...

Save my soul... not again,
All that's dead inside you,
Face my fault like a friend,
Oh no... I wish I never met you,
Raised on insanity,
That's in the air,
Save my soul... not again,

I've seen... I won't...
I'll wake above the fire,
(to see now in her dreams)
Life's over a lonely night, I won't...
I fear the silent cries,
(feel this way again)
Cold chill through the wily night, I won't...
Be brave day to day now kid,
(see another way)
I don't... fear to see the end...

Well, I think this song has a pretty obvious meaning to everyone. I like how it plays around with suicide, rather than going into painful detail (pun definitely intended). I particularly like the fact that it is easily gender reversible, meaning an unlimited number of bands can cover it.
