A Moment Of Silence Lyrics
Remember when all the days were of gold
And time was always at your side
The days of childhood are forever gone
Innocence lays shattered by the grave
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the day turns to night
Before the end of light
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the coming of the dark
Before the great storm
Wait for a moment of silence
And then the sun turns to black
The sun turns to black
In remembrance of days
That will never come back
We each must face our dying pasts
For every day must die
And though we strive to make them last
The future is inevitable
Wait for a moment of silence
This is a moment of silence
Wait for a moment of silence
This is a moment of silence
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the day turns to night
Before the end of light
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the coming of the dark
Before the great storm
Wait for a moment of silence
And then the sun turns to black
The sun turns to black
Wait for a moment of silence
In remembrance of days
That will never come back
Wait for a moment of silence
And time was always at your side
The days of childhood are forever gone
Innocence lays shattered by the grave
Before the day turns to night
Before the end of light
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the coming of the dark
Before the great storm
Wait for a moment of silence
And then the sun turns to black
The sun turns to black
In remembrance of days
That will never come back
For every day must die
And though we strive to make them last
The future is inevitable
This is a moment of silence
Wait for a moment of silence
This is a moment of silence
Before the day turns to night
Before the end of light
Wait for a moment of silence
Before the coming of the dark
Before the great storm
Wait for a moment of silence
And then the sun turns to black
The sun turns to black
Wait for a moment of silence
In remembrance of days
That will never come back

Man, this song is so bad-ass and so sad at the same time. If you haven't figured it out yet, it's about losing your child.
Actually... after reading it again, it could also be interpreted as losing your innocence in an extreme way (if you know what I mean... and you probably don't).
But I'll stick to my first thought, seems to fit in better.
