It seems only yesterday,
I lost them all.
Years have past me by
And time can't heal this loss.
Bear your prayers for thier souls.
Bear your prayers for thier souls.
It seems only yesterday,
Hope was somewhere else.
Far away,
And the nightmare was life itself.
Bear your prayers for thier souls.
I know that memories can't be shared,
But I suffer a pain that isn't mine.
Somewhere, in the back of my thiughts,
There will alaways be a Holocaust.
I lost them all.
Years have past me by
And time can't heal this loss.
Bear your prayers for thier souls.
Hope was somewhere else.
Far away,
And the nightmare was life itself.
But I suffer a pain that isn't mine.
Somewhere, in the back of my thiughts,
There will alaways be a Holocaust.

The song is part of the Kaddish album which is entirely about the Holocaust. The song meanings speak for itself and refer to the concentration camps during the holocaust or the attempts to escape from it ; and to never forget the 6 millions that died. "Nightmare was life itself" and "Somewhere in the back of my thought there will always be a holocaust" speak for themselves really. The title, Kaddish, is a prayer for a large number of victims (like for the victims of ethnic cleansing or genocide). I believe it is Aramic language. It is used often to remember the Holocaust victims.
