Wow. This song hits home for me. Nothing is worse than losing your best friend over a relationship that you considered perfect. The worst feeling ever is not being able to have something that you want more than anything else in the world.
It happened to me on christmas... AND I STILL LOVE HER MAD BUT CANT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT... it's sad, isn't it?

I can relate to part of this song wheres he like "And my mind's gone half crazy cause I can't leave you alone (oh can't get you out of my system) And I'm wondering if it's worth me holding on (holding on) " and it was horrible because i loved him but he didnt feel the same and disrespected me and I put up with it for 6 months and then finally i ended up breakin it off and we still talked, hence me not bein able to leave him alone....but now we dont even talk.....this song reminds me of everythin so much but its a great song.

Okay the guy I am totally in love with right now started off as a friend, and when we broke up he was still my best friend and I still saw him almost as much as I ever did. We still talked a lot and I trusted him with everything. He even started seein my best friend and it didn't bother me. It was actually really cool. Now things are starting to look like we're gonna get back together and its still the same as it ever was. I agree that most of the time, friends should just stay friends...but depending on what kind of person you are and what kind of person they are and how your relationship worked...sometimes it is possible for friends to become more than just that and then go back to being just friends. (But thankfully, me and him are probably gettin back together...yay!!:))
