Mosaic Lyrics

Creeping, stabbing heart so hollow,
To much reality for you to swollow,
Wonder is is cruelty,
To capture it in all its beauty,
You can break me entertain me,
Take it all back for the sons,
You can leave me, Incinerate me,
Disfigure my mosaic,
Cure me, melt me, can someone please help me?
Walk away once i am fulfilled,
One day i will find the pieces of my mosaic,
Breath,

Eroded,

Now.

the best part of mosiac for me has to be the end when when Dave screams, there is just so much emotion in it!

In some ways, I think this is a partner song to Neptune. Whereas Neptune (to me) is about escaping something earlier on in life, this is about the incident / memory he's trying to escape from. I think it's about an event in the past, that was someone's fault, and the song is Dave's way of telling that person

i think it is more about the resolve to do something about a past wrong, that he has been hurt and that he will rebuild himself, ("one day i will find the pieces of my mosaic"), the mosaic being mayb his heart

If you ask me, this is the best of their 'non' melancholic sounding somgs. As you guys are saying, epic badass riff. There is definately an element of "shove it in your face!" involved. I like the guts. Brilliant.
