So Proud of You Lyrics
She's out there in her ordinary life
She don't need me
She's got a special place safe in her heart
It don't want me
I'm gonna end up burning out too soon
The way you call me out every night
I'm gonna end up killing yourself soon
All those troubles are such a worry now
I took from her everything she had
I'm still empty
Never been so proud of anyone
But she left me
I'm gonna end up burning out too soon
The way you call me out every night
I'm gonna end up killing yourself soon
All those troubles are such a worry now
She's out there in her ordinary life
But don't need me
She's got a special place safe in her heart
It don't want me
Don't want me
She don't need me
She's got a special place safe in her heart
It don't want me
The way you call me out every night
I'm gonna end up killing yourself soon
All those troubles are such a worry now
I'm still empty
Never been so proud of anyone
But she left me
The way you call me out every night
I'm gonna end up killing yourself soon
All those troubles are such a worry now
But don't need me
She's got a special place safe in her heart
It don't want me
Don't want me

This is my favorite GBC song. The way they play it is just so powerful that it really brings the song to your heart. To me it describes a guy who falls in love with a girl, but doesn't realize it until he's used her and she leaves him. It's then that he finds himself just as empty as he was before. This kinda hits home for me because I've had the same problem, and am still dealing with it to this day. Guess you get what you deserve.
I love this song, Go Big Casino brings everything that Jimmy eat World does with a lo-fi feel to it. The song, like everything written by these guys, is subject to interpretation, but from Jim and Tom's view it seems like this was a girl who they had a relationship end with because of the strain of being in a band and on the road so often, if you look at the lyrics " shes out there in an ordinary life " " took everything she had " I just get that feel, and I can imagine it would be a huge problem for the guys to deal with. Great Song no matter how you look at it though.
Does anyone know where I can get this song?
