Insomniac Lyrics
this day on never will I look back on you, those memories are dormant and every thought of you I'll see you in dreams, please don't let me sleep again, drop your eyes to the ground, stay the fuck away from me. those three words none existent forever you condemned, in my perfect world your pain to me, your pain as great as gold. in my perfect, you were never there, but your words ran stale and you were never there. this time I swear. there's hope for tomorrow, you turned your eyes from me. and now I'm stronger without you

good song
they closed with this song. on friday. it was great. brandon is a beautiful man
This song means to me how Metalcore is the gayest genre, and this band is proving that.
this song was the first i heard by this band. i've been addicted since. Brandon is such a powerful writer
Why do people post their ignorance? Is that like the in-thing now in high school?
Honestly, answer this question do you feel better now saying Bleeding Through is gay? You might say it hear but if you and Brandan were face to face or even Marta for that matter I don't think you would be so quick to call Bleeding Through gay now would you?
Anyway, the song is about moving on after having your heart-broken. And the idea that although this person may have destroyed your perfect existence, and you hate them so fucking much that a part of you still loves them. And when you dream, you will only dream of the happy times you had. But you don't want that. Because you know you can never go back to what you both had.
So you pledge never to sleep again. You don't want to sleep. To an extreme, but thats what it's about.
When he says, "those three words" - it's has to be "I love you' in which he is reffering to.
Bleeding Through crew - POST!
I'm very happy to hear that "Jenovasson" has never had the unfortunate experiences that the vast majority of people today have had. Maybe songs like "My humps" - or any song with an off beat and entirely pointless lyrics - are more their style.
As for the lyrics of this song, I believe that many people can relate to having trouble with letting go of somebody special. Unrequited love would be the best way of writing this, in my opinion. To me, this reminds me of my "First" girlfriend. Many of you may understand this, some may not.
Either way, I first heard this song after several sleepless nights following a cocaine binge. "Insomniac" was the best title for this song, and as "Rainman" has already voiced, it is about moving on and becomming a stonger person.
If more people could get over the screaming, I think that this could be a legitimate mainstream song. Most songs - today and in the past - have been written directly or indirectly about the topic of love and being heartbroken. Call it "Emo" - call me emo if you'd like - but this is a very well written and thought-out song.
