man this is a weird song. but tis till great
Umm a good song but I must say I think it is the worst Finger Eleven song..
This song is weird definately. I think its just a place where the singer goes to get away from everything, he "rides his carousel" and gets out of everything for that time. Hes free on his carousel.
As for the worst Finger Eleven song, I dont think its that, its just a real weird song, everything about it is weird.
this song has helped me through alot of hard time because i myself have no sanctuary so i listen to my music and i just let myself go and i'm there on the carousel
on the Site Scott Anderson said its about staying ahead of the world. basically lying to yourself, like finding a happy place so nothing else matters. at first I thought it was about drugs or something like that (riding my carousel, meaning doing drugs and "they can never tell" meaning no one knows but him) but hey, this note came from the lead singer himself, and since he wrote the bloody song I guess we should belive him eh?
Definatly one of my favorites from them. And the bass is incredible.
