you actually think chris barnes is reading this? he left the band exactly 10 years ago and is in another big gory (kinda) metal band, Six Feet Under (i don't like them as much as corpse, tho.) If anything, you're only drawing attention to this band and song by saying it's offensive and morally wrong. (i'm not disagreeing with it's morality, tho) chill. it's just a song, and you can easily avoid the band and you'll never, ever have to listen to them again. it's not like they're playing Cannibal Corpse all the time on the radio and TV anyway.

he seems to be talking abt a lot of things here.first about tormenting and hurting his own daughter.in the last few verses seem to be about nightmares troubling himafter he's dead and lying in his grave,reminding him about all the people he slaughtered when he was alive.all in all, one hell of a song!
im sure people just go through this site without ever hearing these bands and just post a meaning, reading the lyrics isnt enough, you haveto hear the song and feel the mood and intensity, live if possibe.
I think if anyone decides to come on here and be offended and take this shit literally they deserve to have everything these guys mention in their songs done to them. No lyrics are meant to be taken literally, in death metal its just an image to fit in with the brutal attitude of the music, think about it, would singing about how your girlfriend dumped you or happiness and rainbows suit blasting, fast distorted guitars and screaming? somehow i think not. I will post this on every song to prove a point, if you dont like it you dont haveto listen to it simple as that, dont buy their records. am i right?

its about a man who murders and rapes his own daugther, then he continues with other families where, he kills them, and mutilates them, the end of the song is about him suffering from his own demons, and possibly being buried alive as a revenge for the horrible murders he has commited.
